What is a CMS Website versus a Simple Website?
A Content Management System (CMS) is an online system we created that allows the admin of a website to login to a secure website and edit and tweak the content. It is as easy as working in Microsoft Word or sending an email. No programming experience is needed! This type of website is best for those who need to constantly edit their site!
Here's how it works:
1. Discovery
In close consultation with you, we will explore your needs, what it takes to complete a successful project and what that project looks like. We work with you to find the best look to fit your style and culture. All of our site designs are custom built from the ground up. We are going to work until you are completely satisfied.
2. Code. code. code.
Once we agree on the design, navigation structure and any other special gadgets included with the site, our team will begin programming your site. We build everything from the ground up! This gives you the flexibility and control you need to be successful.
3. You enter in your content.
Ahh, now it looks like you are all set. Go ahead and begin to upload, edit, and publish content immediately to your site. We can meet with you and walk you through the entire process. We have made it as easy as possible but we are here every step of the way. We like to work in the "off hours" too so feel free to contact us anytime!
4. Go Live!
Once your content is complete you can launch your new website immediately. Our process allows for sites to be up and running in as little as 4 or 5 weeks on average. It really depends on how many revisions will be necessary on the design.
